Hello, I'm a newbie too I'd like to say "hello" as well!
After doing a fair amount of reading I'm trading the EUR/USD using IG Index to spreadbet.
Follow my progress on my blog. Starting today I am trying to update it pretty much live as I trade. 2 reasons, i) to help me, and ii) to possibly help others.
My strategy is to basically get a large portion of the daily move, anything from around 50+ pips upwards. I use price action and fib retracements for my entries.
