I'm a new member to the site and am going through the FAQ's and newbie processes. One thing that I am in need of is a recommendation on a charting package where I can do some back testing and work out a strategy/system while working on a trading plan.
I'm in the US and will be investing in stocks with a 1-2 day holding window. I know that there is a plethora of metrics and indicators, but hope to get down to three or four that I can easily monitor, understand and utilize.
Any direction or opinions will be welcomed.
