My FX Journal (Plz Help) :)

Only trade i made today was at 1:20pm, i was not sure how long it would last plus i had to leave for work at 2:30pm so i closed the position after a nice profit. Annoying though considering it rose a further 500-600 pips until reversing back towards yesterdays lowpoint.

Two trades took place today, again i jumped on the uptrend around 11am on EUR/USD and again i closed way too early! My timing is really off, will get this down eventually.
Taking a long on Barclays which i will hold for a few months, that a very good friend recommended i take a look at, i happen to agree with him.

Been a good day once again, only 1 mistake which is i got caught during a retracement, was scalping from the 1-5min time frame, and ofcorse EMA is known for showing fake trends at times, i expanded it to 15-30min time frame, and longed the position with volume at 0.50 and i actually recovered it by £1 after closing both so was nice.

Deposited another £250 to help free up some of my margin in barclays so i could carry on trading EUR/USD. Some of you may think that what im doing is suicidal but i know its a sure thing.

First was a -100 pip move, Second was +150 pips, Third was +80 pips = 130 pips? Unless you're telling me 100 points = 10 pips?

EUR/USD is now continuing its previous downtrend starting around 3:00pm GMT Today. So jump on that if you can, i hit my Take Profit 15 minutes ago, really need to learn/use Trailing Stops.

My remaining Barclays positions are now nicely in profit, and my account is growing steadily. EUR/USD is going fine, still trying to work on my timing.

Decided to take yesterday off and just let my open trades in barclays/williamhill/homeretailgroup do their thing. Still looking to see EUR fall in the future, Germany is refusing to help bailout Portugal/Spain and Italy could be potentially in for trouble also. USD is struggling to define its strength concerning the $1 trillion it is currently in debt and California in a state of emergency.

So pissed off with myself, to end a good day i put a trade on Gold shorting it, considering Silver has been rising rapidly though it has slowed down considerably now, i should just focus on the short-term of my trades of my FX and long-term on my Stocks and without even bother expanding until i am comfortable.

I havnt updated this in a while, got back from Spain a few weeks ago so it was a good time off to relax. Just trying to study/research everything i can on every market possible. Placed 5 trades today all were winners, if only every day was this easy huh?

I also realised during this period, that i had the most success in my short trading career by trading support/resistance breakouts aswell as following the retracements as i stated on the first page, and am starting to follow that again.

I've also posted on the Forex Live Calls Thread that i have longed EU as it attempts to retest 1.3860 on the Daily Chart, 50/100 MAs have also crossed from 1M/5M/15M/30M signalling the bullish uptrend.

Placed a short on USD/CHF.

Could be risky considering price action has consolidated from its down trend due to the NFP results which was good for the USD. However i'm believing in the longterm trend and think this is a retracement and not a reversal.

Entry: 0.9197
Stoploss: 40-50 pips
Target: See if price falls below current low of 0.91142
