6. The Way Of The Warrior Trader by Dr. Richard McCall

7. Wizards Of Wall Street by Kirk Kazanjian

Haven't read any of them!

Interesting list in that I haven't read (or heard of) any of those ten!

Guess I should start splashing the cash and reading up on those.

I have no excuse really, I spend up to 2 hours on the train each commuting to work so it's not as if I don't have the time!

My favourites would have to be:

(1) Rogue Trader by Nick Leeson. Read this on holiday and found it fascinating, if only for the amazing stupidity of his superiors not picking up on the massive losses he was accumilating.

(2) Market Wizards - Very interesting stuff

(3) Reminiscences(sp) of a Stock Operator - goes without saying really

(4) Ugly Americans by Ben Mezrich - Semi-fiction about hedge fund traders in Japan. Great read.

(5) Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich - Nothing to do with trading but an excellent read all the same.

I have to agree that Rogue Trader and Market Wizards are also among my favourites.I would also recommend:

The Mind of a Trader by Alpesh B. Patel - similar style to Market Wizards though lesser known

Come Into My Trading Room by Alexander Elder - great practical and mental tips for novices and experts alike

No Bull,My Life In and Out of Markets by Michael Steinhardt - an autobiography by the legendary trader

dot.con, the greatest story ever sold by John Cassidy - the fascinating story of the rise and dramatic fall of internet stocks

When Genius Failed:The Rise and Fall of Long-Term Capital Management by Roger Lowenstein - the amazing story of LTCM

If anyone is interested in fictional books with a financial/trading theme then I recommend any book written by Michael Ridpath or Paul Kilduff. Also The Money Makers by Harry Bingham is a great read.
