Metatrader "no connection"

I've been using Metatrader 4, build 191, for quite a while now. Today, however, I have lost connection to the server, currently for over an hour, which is quite unusual. I have reinstalled into another directory, but am not getting connected even with the new install. Other feeds are ok, and my ISP is up and running (BT broadband).

Has anybody else got connection problems to day?

same here.
usually I get "no connection", for a few seconds, then reconnects.
this time, has been off for a while.
am using VT as back-up.

MT4 is back, but with data missing.
if you switch to 1-min bars, it goes from 12:18 to 13:47.
( need to get the missing data, or indicators are stuffed -possibly re-install )

So that's OK then. I don't think you'll get the data back again.
