Cookie,sorry to be a bore but the link you gave me for a live dow price(www.dynamic.nasdaq.com)keeps coming up as Error-url caanot be retrieved.
Any other sites anybody?

Miss the dynamic out of the url Http://www.nasdaq.com there is a ticker to download ,updates every 3 mins pick up 50 stocks plus indices.
