text file format is your new file format that you made from the settings i posted
click again...and you are set up

under chart options..best set it to 1% for primary chart
3 reversal
then you can work back from there

you dont need names on header ..just code
no relative strength either or bullish %
data just goes straight into file on hitting control and "s'
referesh beb and it will read it

I've got a copy of beb4, and I'm trying to enter data. I've downloaded data from LCG into a file on my desktop as you can see from the image.
Are my File Format Settings correct. I keep getting an error signal

cigar
creat a new data format
label it metatraderdata or whatever you want to call it

create a new data format as per the screenshot and save it
then go to data wizard and put in the parameters.ie the file and the file format
close down beb 4
export by hitting control "s"
reopen beb4
files should be there
for portfolio...use "all charts"
then click on a chart
you will have to go down to 0.2% ish for 5 minute data etc etec

Well I got it working in the end, not quite sure how... but it seems OK. Heres 3 running side by side using different data.
Nice little short on the right hand side...

So for $70 for the software and if you bought both Duplessis books,you have a full trading methodology
under £150 all in
pretty good value i think

Beb will give you the equivalent arithmetic box size if you slide the mouse around
best to use both
also..alwaays line it up against a candle,bar chart to see if it looks right

a little tip...i think
on mt4
go to charts/options
i only load 1440 bars
so
max bars in history is 1440
max bars in chart is 1440
why ??
they load quicker,especially yhe one minute
if i want more history..then i hav to go to a higher timeframe input
1440 is 24 hours data on 1 minute
what Duplessis does not tell you....dont load up too much data..otherwise you end up curve fitting...each trend has its own volatility..hence you need to use log and arithmetic to get the best feel of the price action

if you look at the chart...hopefully i have exposed most of the volatility
errr.i hear you say...that is unreadable
but it is readable..i have only hit control "s" about 8-10 times today.BEB will update the chart automatically when you put in new data

final stuff comes from tick charts
also i have a p/f loaded with the latest trend only...no other backfill

I downloaded and immediately its expired and the "how to purchase" tab neither link works to actually purchase it

I've never seen that.... must admit I haven't attempted to pay for it, I was wanting to make sure it works.
I downloaded it a couple of days ago.

I can open the purchase box on mine but sadly, the links to regsoft are dead. Whois says thay are inactive.

There was another site with beb4 software, I'll see if I can find them again
