I was looking at IB as a trading platform + data feed source for offline analysis, and wanted to
confirm a few things... would appreciate feedback from ** people who actually use IB **
The min. deposit to open an account is 1450 GBP (that seems clear!)
a) If I just open an Individual account and do not trade very actively (say only 1-2 trades a week)
are there any extra charges (I mean kind of "inactivity fees" etc)?
b) Also, is it correct to believe the minimum monthly charge (Individual a/c) is 10$ ?
I'm planning mostly to trade in futures for UK/US Stocks and Indices.
Bit confused by the data bundles and prices out there...
c) Is their a minimum non-pro data bundle charge? - apart from the 10$ per month min
commision? (I'll be using the TWS only)
The reason I'm looking at IB is that I plan to get data feed from them (EOD will be fine)
and purchase Seirra Charts (~27quids) - to start looking into TA indicators and stuff..
d) Lastly - where could I find detailed mathematical explanation of how CIC, RSI, MACD etc are
calculated? Pointers to any good book/articles would be much appreciated!
