first question: what sustains life. answer: ether, prana.
( I am willing to accept this on its own spiritual merit, but not in relation to trading, nor in relation to having the exclusive access to truth. )

question of chart: describe: seems to be: well, its TIME that is significant, as per frugis post.
( our old buddy, Baruch, has been playing the BigBen for yonks over on the FX threads. nothing new here. )

then, this thread has taken a turning into Options and options expiry data.
and the nature of the Fed Reserve in the US.
and US taxes.

are those above points the salient points from the current wreckage?

is this thread about options trading then?

Ssshhhhh!

Be carefull, or you wont get an invite to the Ark.

No, this thread is not about options trading.

This thread is about thinking correctly in case you have not noticed.

And therefore examples of incorrect conclusions about matters which are very serious are arrived at precisely by not engaging correct thought.

And therefore the inclusion of commentary on Options and options expiry data and the nature of the Fed Reserve in the US and US taxes though not strictly speaking being part of the thread title are relevant and show the consequences of ignoring FACT.

And the ignoring of fact and the ignoring of irrefutable evidence like ignoring the consequences of the American public shrugging off their rights and the example of Profitaker's persistent denials of that which is patently obvious serve to ILLUMINATE the torpor that results when people refuse, for whatever reason, to engage brain, in order to think correctly, and that is what this is about, no more, no less, and not otherwise.

Ah, hah, could this be number 3, for fools do surely follow fools, and the mere fact that they are fools, results in them doing foolish things.

I suppose we will be contacting mammy shortly - what a mentality.

I will ask Luiden what he thinks of you, but I already know the answer :cheesy:

It is indeed funny how the same people suddenly EMERGE, buy wait, they are here to protect you, to give you the words of real wisdom, like listen to what I have to say, I am at this game 20 years, like look at my journal, look at what I have done.

You have done nothing only make a fool of yourself - and you are now all falling for my trap, but I am sure that you will all be told to CAN IT shortly, before you all make a complete mess of it, and that would be a mortal sin, God forbid.

I knew it was only a matter of time, and the bait was well and truly taken.

Maybe now many will begin to see the real truth of what happens in society, and how money, does indeed, cause many people sink to the lowest depths possible.

I rest my case - next please :D

You are beginning write more and more like Socrates (the one who posts on here, I mean) every day. I feel sure that he must be very pleased about that but I am not so sure that you should be. However, birds of a feather flock together, as they say.

A suicidal manic depressive cannot be taught about the sharpness of knives during the process of slashing their wrists. A compulsive gambler cannot be taught about the stacking of odds in favour of the casino as the ball is spinning around the roulette wheel. An alcoholic cannot be taught the effect of alcohol on the wife and children as they lie inibriated on a pub floor.

To be taught how to think correctly they must first STOP the destructive behaviour.

Then engage brain.

What prompts them to stop in the first place. Is it some deep intuitive instinctive urge that transcends immediate gratification and transcends flimsy logical and deductive processes. It needs some extra spark in the first place.

Correct thought is much more than just logical thinking as I am sure you would agree.

Why cannot traders realise the destructive force of incorrect thought ?

Sorry Socrates - virtually every question I ask on this board is aimed at prompting discussion rather than eliciting information.

My question, for consideration, was aimed at the general reader and not you in particular (I should have replied to the thread rather than your post - my mistake) , but of course feel free to address it if you wish.

Yes, but here is what they don't say..

Little sparrows should not flit about provocatively in airspace occupied by and patrolled by powerful birds of prey, with sharp beaks and merciless claws, lest they find themselves pounced on suddenly and gobbled up for lunch, in seconds...:cheesy:

Socs - you should be ashamed of yourself

Leave these delightful innocent creatures to peck at the crumbs on the bird table

Phew ! That's a relief...because that one liner of a question merits a whole book written about it of at least twentyfive chapters plus, so I am not willing to do it singlehandedly but of course if constructive discussion is forthcoming I would be happy to contribute.

SOCS plays manipulation to create a problem and hope that the public on T2W will react in the expected manner. Then when the public reacts as predicted, SOCS intention is for everything to get so twisted around, that the public ends up believing that the solution that was mentioned by someone else was actually SOCS idea in the first place.

The first principle of control like SOCS controlling CYOF is not to let them know you are controlling them. It is easier than you think to control people indirectly, to manipulate them into thinking what you want them to think and doing what you want them to do.

It's called mind control or what I call people who don't get out much.

You will have to be number 4, yes, surely, for you are, even now exceeding the ultimate creation of generations, and, as Socrates, rightly says, by your continuous repetition, are heading towards the middle box, to receive that all important medal, of No. 1 Fool.

It may come as a big surprise to YOU and your BUDDIES, that similarities, will indeed manifest themselves in the writings of like minded people, and this holds true for those that know how to think correctly, the same as it holds true for those that are ignorant, or, in keeping with the recent flow, FOOLS.

As for the waste of space, I will reply to him next, and many will be now confused, and wondering who that might be, as the waste of space is growing and growing.

Now that is a worthwhile thought, maybe I will let people think for a while, so that can see where the space is really been wasted

It is always the same old FOOLS that come along to save the day - with nothing really to offer, but diversions from the real truth.

Ye are truly an ignorant bunch of fools!

As for you my good friend, you might do yourself a great justice by actually opening that can, and stuffing some of that stuff in your mouth

And NO, you were not meant to be my reply, but you are now a member of the elite group.

It's not a real can. It's just a picture. Please study the diagram carefully :
