Anyone heard of these guys?
Could this be a way around the pdt rule? I wannt daytrade US stocks but dont have the 25k required.

Oooohh..How about questrade.com? Canadian broker. UK citizens allowed. No pdt rule.

looking at questrade, it says:
The $4.95 Plan
This plan allows you to trade unlimited shares of US or CDN stock for 1 cent per share commission, with a minimum charge of $4.95

Does this mean $4.95 per roundtrip or would I actually be paying nearly $10 for buying 100 shares in a stock and then closing the trade?

Apparantly its a nightmare opening an account with questrade. Passport must be verified by a lawyer, time delay issues etc etc.

Such a shame that the PDT rule still exists and the only ways around it mean you have to take a very bad deal regarding commissions and misc. charges (alliance for example...)

I have quite content trading the indicies and forex at the moment but would love a chance to put all i have learned about daytrading stocks over the last 4 years or so into practice
