Harvey Walsh- Daytradingfreedom

Bought it out of curiousity

IMHO

I think a rip off of other peoples techniques , or maybe just a concidence. A lot of the material looked very familar to me.

What software interface does he use ?

Can anyone tell me what software Halvey uses to execute his trades. I haven't found anything like it. Know he uses Etrade, but still I it doesn't look like it's that.

Wrote you a private Email.

Hi CU2

Haven't been around to answer your pm or post, stopped posting on boards as have more important things to worry about.

In any case since I don't know you and you don't know me, I don't see why you should be disappointed

I suggest you try going to youtube.com and searching for "Harvey Walsh". Ahh the internet what a wonderful thing..................

see you in 6 months ......................maybe

The word 'freedom' in the domain name should tell you all you need to know.

Selling dreams that's all.............

He's using TSim+ routing through IB. Tsim

I bought the course last year and have been paper trading the strategy diligently for months, but I'm still not able to knock a consistent profit unfortunately.

Oh and btw, he does incur some losses in a few of his videos.

Good course!!! Not a rip off as been suggested. The guy is just a good trader that's all. He does show some losses though I don't think he has a lot of those. He recently updated and posted some members only videos on his site, there he explains trades in detail. Most information you find is stuff you get from any other trading course but he presents it differently in a more direct manner as if he was personally mentoring you. At least that's the feeling I got. In any case 140somthing for so much effort and all the videos both youtube and members only you can't get that any where else.

I've been trading this method on my demo account for a few months now. I can't get a good win % on it, which is sort of suggested going by his example videos on youtube.

Not so sure if I should keep going or look for another strategy...

I've bought his course and his breakout theory only works occasionally. It looks simple but in reality very few stocks perform like in his videos.

Harvey Walsh is a fraud. His course is rubbish and anyone who bought in to his crap is.. i'm sorry to say this, a fool!

I did some searching on this character and guess what.. Harvey Walsh is not his real name!!! His real name is James Steem.. or so he says here. This James Steem character is a savvy numerologist.. and also has some deep insight in the art of.. Tarot cards! We all know these are the trades of the devious con-artist.

Strangely enough James Steem aka. Harvey Walsh went on a pilgrimage throughout the world and rounded up some guru's. Sat down and had a little chat with them. After that, James was transformed from a meaningless maggot to an all knowing super being, that even the guru's respected and even feared. I believe this story comes along with any business, Mr. Steem is so brilliantly doing!

He's a scammer and tries to get into your wallet by selling you empty dreams and nothing else. He tries to cash in on the ultimate human trait, laziness. There are NO shortcuts to making it big.. in anything! Like in sports, arts or life, becoming top dog doesn't come out of a little booklet, like Harvey Walsh aka James Steem is selling.

Also, before I forget.. James Steem also has yet another different alter ego, named Henry Doyle. This character is the host of The Trade Show on YouTube.

Watching the clips of Harvey Walsh, James Steem and Henry Doyle, you've noticed that all have the same way of speech.. except, Mr. Walsh! His voice seem to be much lower and probably was created with some sort of voice manipulation software. Even if your deaf you could clearly hear the similarities.

In his clips, Mr. Walsh says he's using eSignal for the charts, but uses a different peace of crap software to do his trades. DO NOT USE IT! DO NOT USE ANYTHING COMING FROM HIM! Most serious traders use Tradestation, eSignal or something equel and do their trades with the service most cheapest, which usually is Interactive Brokers.

But, I can hear you say, he shows us his trades and we see him win? We do, but do not get a clip every single day. Maybe he only shows his best days and best trades. Or maybe he's using some sort of software, which plays back the quotes in a simulator. He would know in advance when to go long/short and thus make easy money. I simply can not check how he does his tricks, but I know they are tricks.. and that should be enough to know he's a scammer.

Harvey Walsh is certainly not a man with brass balls. He monitors every single comment on his YouTube clips and any criticism is filtered. Fools, ending up buying his crap and asking some insight, he simply points them back to his ****ty booklet on page this or that.. yadda yadda.. and that's that! He's totally in control and if these folks can't find an answer, he simply filters them out, making the rest believe these people where helped by the Guru.

He is devious, but stupid. Like some dude posted a comment, about Walsh's clips being "stock market pornography" (clip on 12 March 2008). I contacted the poster and asked him what he meant by that statement. He told me he was fed up with being filtered by Walsh because he knows and convinced me, that he's a fraud. He explained that pornography is a fantasy. A dream and certainly not real. And so goes for the crap Walsh serves.. but to his surprise, Walsh did not filter out the comment, proving his IQ is probably below average, which basically screws your plan to become a top dog trader, like Harvey pretends to be!

The comment: "Food for thought: Is this stock market pornography?" by Smirnoff71 (vodka seems to be good for the brain ;))

ps. To Harvey Walsh, James Steem, Henry Doyle or whatever your name may be. Removing the clips, sites or any other material you created to trick your visitors will not change the fact your a dirty little scammer.. and I will post them again, because copies are made and will be posted. You can run.. but will only make you die tired!

Some of what you meantioned is way back in the past. I am not saying you wrong in the fact it could be a simulator he is using. I have seen the software he uses on an Etrade advert so I would say you are wrong with the software bit. I haven't bought the course. But love the video's. I will dream on.

The way he trades is very simler to some of the top trader schools, so if you do some research on trading the opening gap and pre opening studies then you'll have most of his course in the bag for free. But there is one little trick which he swears by and that is, time and sales to judge the exit and entries. I found also stuff in Utube using time and sales but it's like everything else, not a guru indicator.

Sorry can't find the links I had on it. grrr:cry:

Thanks for the clip.

However, my opinion about Harvey is as it is. The information I found is proof of Mr. Walsh's questionable past and his way of doing business. Numerology, Astrology, Tarot and that kind of crap is known to be the ultimate trades of the swindler and has been for thousands of years. He's a con-man.. or confidence man. He tries to win your confidence by showing his clips on YouTube. Shock and Awe.. After getting your trust, he will start selling his course for a whopping $150 to $175. I have not bought the course myself, because as soon as I registered I was bombarded by loads of SPAM about all kinds of affiliates, which made me kind of suspicious.

If I look at the comments on YouTube, I am almost tempted to become the next Harvey Walsh myself. The world is loaded with morons, believing what Mr. Walsh is showing, is real. People tend to believe that making $1,000 a day, like Harvey says he does, amounts to a thousand dollars EVERY DAY.. which means a salary of two to three hundred thousand dollars annually. If however you ask a simple question to show his monthly or annual results, he brushes you off by saying that is NOT IMPORTANT. (yeah right)

He only shows his day results and that's it. If I was making hits like Harvey is doing, I would certainly show my monthly or annual results. It would prove without any doubt, my course works. Resulting in selling more courses and becoming the European "Jim Cramer".

btw. Jim Cramer is just as full of **** as Harvey, because he looses on his investments. But what does he care. Losing 1 million on stocks while taking a 20 million dollar profit on his subscriptions last year, is fine indeed! Most memorable advice of Cramer was to NOT sell your stake in Bear Streans a day before it crashed to about $2. Nice going, Jim!

Anyway, my tip to the people is not to buy the course Walsh is trying to sell to you. Take the money and buy some good books. T2W offers a lot in their store or just do some searches on Amazon. All best selling titles have a rating and comments of readers, and have a multitude of information on indicators, strategies, money management, risks etc. Just to give you an example. A couple of days ago I bought "The Master Swing Trader", "Mastering the Trade", "High Probability Trading", "Trade your way to Financial Freedom" and 3 more. for only €120. I betchya I will be a real Guru once I'm done reading them.. or at least know more about it then swindler Harvey Walsh with his "get rich real quick" crap!

ps. But wait, since I am the "Axis of Evil", maybe I'll make Harvey my mini-me, because selling a million of these bull-courses amount to a whopping 150 to 175 million dollars?!?!?

:devilish:
