Graph. Last price - today's open price

Does anyone know how to create a chart where the value displayed is last price - today's open price?

This is for a 5 min intraday graph

You'd have to create a new indicator and plot that.

Sorry ive been playing around with this and cant get it to work, also would you be able to run a system test on this new "indicator / chart" and appy and indicator to it to generate email signals?

The indicator formula is quite simple:

Ref(C ,-1 ) - OPEN

As for generating emails...I don't know. Is that available in your version of MetaStock?

Ahhh...Sorry. You're right. That's only one period to the next. I don't know off-hand how to get the last day's close while in an intraday timeframe.

LAST PRICE - PRICE 500 PERIODS AGO?

That's what the Ref(C ,-1 ) does. The -1 means one period prior. You can put in whatever number you want.
