Hi all,
I've been demo trading an MT4 account for a while now and was looking to jump in for real with a live account. I recently opened an MT4 account at brokerX (anonymized), because they've been around for a while and they seemed to have the lowest spreads.
But before funding that account I was doing some research (okay maybe I should have done that before opening the account, but better late than not right? ). I found some pretty nasty reviews on them on different websites, blaming them of executing orders that the client never placed among other things that aren't exactly legal.
I actually saw a thread about it on this forum too, confirming the things stated in those reviews. For me that was enough confirmation not to fund the account. So I was looking for another broker now, but it seems all of the brokers are receiving similar accusations in reviews, some less and some more. The question that I have now is if there are actually any honest brokers out there that don't use shady tricks and bet against their clients?
I prefer paying a slightly bigger spread at a decent broker than getting the lowest spreads at a shady one. Please advice.
Ruben.
