FX Weekend action ?

I'm looking to dip my feet into the FX world during the weekends (either that or I need to get out more lol!) - during the week I swing on the indices (and waiting to short that FTSE around sept 5th/13th!!) so I wanted to investigate some FX real-time action during the weekend.

I have a methodology drawn from a paper (which I will post if i can find it) based on the butterfly patterns (and with Fibs as an extra confirmation pattern).

Here in the states, the Forex closes late friday afternoon and opens early Sunday eve..
