If there's any newbies who, for God knows what reason, wants to participate in F's 'blog' and make guaranteed winning 'calls', simply:

Pick an instrument. Put a 'potential buy level'' 15 pips above the current price and ''potential scalp sell level'' 15 pips below the current price. (and use 2 prices close to each other as the 'level')
Once price has move in either direction by around 30 pips, claim to have taken the trade which would have theoretically resulted in a profit and dismiss any trade that would have resulted in a loss.
That's the BEAUTY of never actually making a proper live call, and stating that you are are NOW IN a trade ;)

you're welcome ;)

Don't miss the point, though ;)
It's not about the trade style, but the 'style' of the call itself.
You can't get whipsawed because, due to never actually saying ''I AM NOW LONG HERE AT XXXX' You never have to lose on your 'call' ;)

Hi 12TBW

According to another member here ( comments shown above) - Limit orders don't count as live trading calls in advance.

This ultra ****? member needs you to say when you are in the limit order " i am now long /short at price".

But by then - its no longer a live call in advance of entry ?

He also thinks you can "wrap" any session price level - showing his lack of trading knowledge - and that once you have named your stop level ( as you have on your first AU trade) that you can still claim a win - even if you get stopped out.

I think this new trading thread is a brilliant idea and I wish you well with it

Once you have decided on how you want to interpretate your trading call details according to the thread heading - will it be OK as CV as ,mentioned for anyone to participate with FX calls - ( including me ) ?

Best Regards and have a great new trading year

I will ;-)

Regards

F

Okay try and keep it simple as possible

Type of trades.

Limit orders
Sell or buy order at the price and stop, can be price stop or time stop(15 mins, 1 pm in London etc)

Stop orders
Sell or buy stop order at the price and stop, can be price stop or time stop(5 mins, 12 pm in New York etc)

Market orders
Price taken and stop(price or time) and try and post the call in 1 min of taking trade.
Will be very hard or impossible if you in and out the market seconds at a time.

If you want to add take profit in the call up to you.

Or just up date when stopped out or when closing the trade, try up date within 1 min of closing the trade.

If you want to put a chart up or statement up, your call but not expected.

Time Frame

Just to add another thing on the time frame stop cancel orders.

Will use a standardised time frame of the UK.

With the forum UK based and most posters based in the UK.

Do I have to explain this ! It means pending order to sell Aud/Usd @ 0.81282 by 5pm NewYork

Not rocket science is it ffs.

FFS - cannot you READ !!!!!!!!

I said its a shame price fell - BEFORE HIS LIMIT ORDER KICKED IN -

So therefore he missed a potential 50 pips off a fall - ie yes he got the direction correct - but he was not in it - and missed that move - surely that's a shame.

I appreciate he has not lost money etc - BUT - he missed the move so far.

OK - his order still might kick in - but as far as I am concerned if it did his to time limit - it might then be a problem and stopped out

Surely you agree ?????????????

So why all the FUSS ???

Seems to me a lot of traders here who go over the top so easy

Chill CV and have a good trading week

Regards

F

PS - If he hopes its still kicks in now - I wish him luck and hope then we get another nice fall - personally I would cancel it and review again

So F long at 1.1969(?) and stopped
currently 1.1959

?

Sorry - Scholfield - you have got it wrong again

OK - a pullback is a scalp sell - so under 1975 and also 69 its a scalp sell and I would look at exiting at 1955 to then scalp buy

We went under 55 - so could not scalp buy there and then at 9 09 am - 44 held - so that was a scalp buy

Now if we make above 61 and 69 you can stay with scalp buys

But if we do not make above 61 then exit scalp buys

With GU news in just over 10 mins - i will looking more at GU after 9 31 am

Hope that explains more

Dont want to pollute this thread - and will only make live calls in advance - that are not pure scalps here - and will do later on today

I apprecaite as 12 TBW as mentioned this is not really a scalping thread - which I think is good - and so I will abide by the rules

Why did you not ask for clarification on my thread ?? - rather than you pollute this thread - one which I think is a good idea and I support 12 TBW

Regards

Pullbacks staying above 1945 - are scalp buys again

After that stop out, he's looking to get back long?
pullbacks staying above 1945 are scalp buys.
in theory we could then say that he was long again at the time of his post as price was 'pulling back' and was above 1945.
So F was long at 1.1952 and stopped out for -8 this time?

9 05 am

#dropped to 1944

45 / 46 was a scalp buy and so far we have bounced to 51

Oh, he seems to have announced he got in long at 45/46 (which one I wonder ;))
However, we can dismiss this as price got at low at 1.1943 so no trade as the pullback went below his '1.1945'

I'd say he's down about 40 pips so far.
Hopefully he can pull it back for a breakeven day.

However, I do love the idea of calling ''pullbacks staying above xxx are scalp buys''!

Let me try.

Pullbacks on EU staying above 0 could be scalp buys. I'll let you know the results of this call.
Wish me luck!!

Why are you polluting this new thread of 12 TBW with your rubbish ???

As normal you are totally and utterly wrong - are you really a newbie - because I dont think you follow PA or price structure or the idea of scalping at all

Now if you want a lesson from an expert - commit to 3 months on my thread ??

12 tbw

Sorry - will only post on this thread wit proper live calls in advance with stops and with targets - Scholfield is just causing trouble - again

Happy with that :)
we pulled back to 1.1943 (that's above 0, i'm sure you'd agree)
So I got long there and it's now trading at 1.1956
closing here for +13.
That's all from this expert on the euro today :)
