if you just want to refresh 1 page then see my thread on here
- Create your own charts -

Bonsai,

thanks for the " create own chart " thread.

I managed to create the yahoo chart on Note pad........but the auto refresh part, where we have to copy a code got me, since i created mine from yahoo and did not think the code that u mentioned was relevant ??

Any ideas ?

thanks

Al

not sure from your post whether the notepad file is now giving you autorefresh ? or not ?

However here is a simple file which works
when the graph loads, right click on some 'white space' and select 'View Source'. This will show you the code

No- I have the chart but no auto refresh.......

In the auto refresh part of your chart, u say copy a formula which seems connected to onetel.co.uk...........

Since i am using the Yahoo chart, not the one u mention, not too sure how i can auto refresh?

There is only a one line code in my note pad for the chart.

thanks
Al

Sorry, Al but I really can't follow you.

Did you follow the instruction in my thread ? Its not clear that you did so as the procedure works.

Did you download the file I posted today, opened it and did as I suggested ? I can't tell.

I can only suggest you go back to the thread and try it again until it works.
Make sure you have read it all first and then do one step at a time

hope that helps

when you have got a successful file, the contents will look like this.

Sorry for the confusion Bonsai-

I created my own Yahoo chart- then did add the "autorefresh" part of your formula-

I get the text that u have entered above my created chart- BUT no auto updates !!

Is this because, my chart is different to what u were demonstarating ?

thanks again
Ali

I think you may have to attach your file to a post so I can take a look.

the code is universal so should work with any html chart.

(but not a java chart)
