Free Version of NinjaTrader

We released version 5 of NinjaTrader several weeks ago. It is available as a free simulation only platform and can be used with any of our supported brokerage data feeds in addition to:

- eSignal
- DTNiQ
- TrackData
- TradeStation (first simulation only platform)

is that the current version 8+ of TradeStation? do they have an API now?

Yes that is the current version of TS. No, they don't have an API. We have written an EL script that sends market data to NinjaTrader in real-time through our Automated Trading Interface.

nice workaround. does that retreive market depth info too, out interest? 5 levels or just bid/ask?

No market depth since we can't get that information from a TS chart so just bid/ask and last volume/price.
