From the truth is stranger than fiction department: older viewers may remember that when David Steel was still leader of the Liberal party (before they became LibDems) as part of a "let's try relating to the younger voter" attempt, he brought out a rap record with the theme:

"I feel Liberal - all right!"

I heard it on the radio once; quite funny. Sadly it sank without trace. I'd love to hear it again actually.
