I've tried searcing our site (T2W) for research on the above but to no avail.
Has anyone tried or has any research info. on he Donchian Channel.(Trend Following)
For starters I found a link at :

Any useful info. appreciated. ;)

If we get enough info maybe one of the Mods. could put it in the traderpedia?

Hi there,

The Turtles used Donchian channel breakouts in their systems.

See the link below for a brief explanation:

For what it's worth, I have my main CQG screen set up on a 2 minute bar charts with a 20 period EMA of the highs, a 20 period EMA of the lows, a 5 period EMA of the closes and a regular MACD at the bottom. I see the market as bid when the 5 period line is above the channel and offered when it's below - a quasi Donchian set up. Although these signals are only a sentiment guide for me, I do find them useful for exits. i.e. when the 5 period line crosses back into the channel, it's time to think about reducing / flattening.
