Does anyone really use MM/DD??

For me, the benefits of using true ECN/STP over an MM/DD model are clear, especially at the present day when execution with an ECN is pretty much instantaneous with no re-quotes and you can always get filled unless you're placing an outrageous ticket size.

Does anyone actually use/prefer a DD broker and if so, what do you like about it? I'm interested to know!

Thanks

You might not be aware but ECN/STP models are purely compatible with DD on NDD. At low trading volumes prime brokers or interbank market makers won't provide liquidity to you. So for cent deposits or low amounts only broker itself can take the opposite side to your trades.
