The Darwin XUF feeds on three strategies (at the moment):
  • One strategy trades the SP500 in the morning European session taking advantage of a very simple statistical advantage. It is not very intensive since it operates between 2 and 3 times a week. And never more than one operation a day.
  • Another of the strategies is a scalper that operates in 7 currencies and whose main characteristic is that all operations always carry a stop of 1% and never open more than one at the same time per currency. The average exposure to the market is 15 minutes per trade and he spends between 22 and 23 hours a day outside the market.

  • And finally, another strategy whose main characteristic is that it always enters with 20-25% of the total position and may come out with a profit or complete the position during the following hours. Statistically there are once or twice a year that their trades last for days, but usually they are closed in less than 4 hours.

are these dips and increased holding times built in to the strategy.?
