I read on FF that he gave some strategies in the book, and now he says none of them work because of all the people that have read his book and copied it :whistling

There are no strategies in the book.

At one point he says "I spent 3 months thinking about how to put this properly but couldn't" - so he tells you to just go watch an instrument every day for a while.

"the way fundamental traders approach the game of speculation creates a phenomenon I like to call expectation skew. The expectation skew causes prices to gravitate in the direction of sentiment. Know the sentiment and you know the inherent directional bias of the market.

To learn how to read sentiment, you need experience doing so. However, if you actually do the homework I have assigned, it should not take you that long to figure out"....

The strategies (if you can call it that) is to study TA, figure out where TA traders place their trades & fade them.

One can only marvel at how you do this at a double top. Fading both reversal traders and breakout traders at the same time is no mean feat.

It's still 100% true that if too many people chase the same system, it will fail to produce profits for anyone.

However, Order Flow Trading is no longer a single system. There are 3 complete systems described in the book, and that doesn't even cover all the systems that I personally use. Furthermore, there are quite a few professional traders in the chat, and every one of them has their own unique spin on the concept.

Now, if someone expects to plunk down their $150 for my "system" and start raking in the millions a week later, they are going to be disappointed. The 3 systems I included are no longer profitable precisely because too many people are trying to trade them.

It doesn't really matter though. For someone who is serious about learning and applying the information, the book and associated chat are still a tremendously valuable resource for developing an order flow based trading system.

About a third of the book is an explanation of the hierarchy of the forex market. It does describe flow but this forex, so when he discusses order flow, he's obviously not going to be talking about order books and tape reading.

It's not a bad book to be honest. It's just not a $150 book - hence to offer to swap it for rice pudding.
