Currency data for Metastock

I am looking for EOD currency data for Metastock for the common pairs Euro/Dollar etc. I have Databull software but they only do current day with no history. Does anyone know of any good sources they can point me to with histories as well. Preferably low cost as i get most realtime data etc from my brokers

...if you mare prepared to download from yahoo then that one is free....you may have to work on the data and tweak slightly...

Can't see how to get currency data though

Looks similar to Databull but still no way i can see to get historical currency data

Awoodj, try downloading it through this website, for free: http://www.fin-rus.com/analysis/export/_eng_/default.asp although it is not a regular piece of software, it does let you download a lot of different currencies, with a lot of different time periods, about 10 years ago. They are downloaded in the .txt format, and are converted through 'the downloader'.

www.premiumdata.net recently released an EOD forex data download service covering 78 currency pairs with history back to 1991. Data is in MetaStock format and updated via a one click interface.

Anyone else have trouble downloading from this site? I keep getting " Ïî âñåì âîïðîñàì [email protected] " or other suitable messages when i try to download files.

(Which apparantly means "On all questions [email protected]" if your interested).

Hi there all I am a newbie to Metastock (just inherited a Metastock 8.0 Professional from my folks) and would like to get trading currencies intraday. I have managed to get all the data from http://www.fin-rus.com/analysis/exp...ng_/default.asp but I am having problems converting them in Downloader! it is just not doing it at all - just states that 0 files have been converted. I have tried opening the data in Excel and cutting and pasting the information in, but I can't paste more than one days data at a time as it just says 'invalid date'. Are there any metastock pros out there who can help? much appreciated.

Yeah, it's a tick data thing. Other time periods seem to be working. Doesn't seem to matter how much or how far back i go. I was getting 1 month tick data back to 01/01/04, but seems not to work anymore.
