Boy....the USD is strong.......its looking for an excuse to rise ......if Dow tumbles.....hmmmm

crazy correlation now gang..........I did promise you that Dow would bounce north as it has but very scrappy and yen has now gone north ....and USD finally got south....

sure E/U was a natural buy call for me today ...but its been scrappy scrappy scrappy so far

hey all

heres my quick review of friday .....useful to look at to see if we missed any obvious trades

Using the FXCorrelator that shows us up to 8 currencies - we should be shot if we miss something !

hmmmm

Well I called a bounce on the Dow early doors
I said that yen and USD would fall
I said euro would be possibly most responsive buy
I said watch for Economic News

Results

Remember I dont trade the asian session - some very easy pips there !

London onwards for my sleep pattern

not bad.....the main problem was a strongish Yen lingering above the Zero lines on the chart...Ideally I need my Yen and USD working together to really drive the price moves......

also Euro did respond especially later in the day ....but AUD (and NZD) were pretty strong and stole pips from the European currencies when it really mattered

so I did make money stealing some E/U pips later in the day ......but on reflection I should have been bolder and bought some A/U as well

all in all I give myself 7/10 .....but i'm not losing any sleep as my aim is to always be making money on a consistent daily basis....:smart:

such is life .......see how reviewing the days action helps you ?

Mornin all

hmmmm...........I've absolutely no idea what next this week ........look at the charts below

Daily.........tight range on Dow after falls......we need a breakout to give a clue

1hr ...........no real idea.......Its sittting right in the same range above of the Daily ...if it were at the top or bottom I might have a few more ideas but nope...sorry

all I suggest is drop to 5m and 15m's and play the normal FXCorrealtor trading rules as discussed in my free attachments below in signature area

remember the East coast is storm hit and some parts of manhattan have been evacuated
