Complete newbie and need advice

I’m uk based and want to buy shares in lithium and uranium mining company’s ,investing a certain amount every month
my question is what would be the best way to do this , for example I have about 8 companies I’m interested in but if I buy shares
in all 8 companies would I pay 8 transaction fees ? Any suggestions and recommendations would be gratefully appreciated

Have you looked to see if there is an ETF that these companies are all contained within? Might be a better and cheaper way to go about it to avoid the fees on buying up each individually.
