Which is your favourite Cuban cigar...and why....

I would like to find out which Cuban cigar is the most popular choice generally.....

I like Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No 2 because of fruity smooth taste.......

Sometimes Montecristo No 5 because of spicy taste great smoke....

I don't smoke but I do like the smell of cigars compared to cigarettes.

I also sniff single malts. :D

Hey - a good Christmassy thread, nothing like a good cigar at the end of a party (to make sure you feel really crap the next morning).

Montecristo No.5's for me - great taste and not too big. Not keen on cigars that take 2 hours to smoke. I'm currently working my way through a box of Partagas No. 4 which is not too much of a chore.

And on the subject of whisky: a Talisker or Laphroaig thank you very much.

...Good choice...I prefer single malt whisky...Glenfiddich 18 yrs is my favourite....

Montecristo was present from my wife...and it proved to be very good.....

Well, yes, but I sniff cigars rather than smoke them, so it only seemed correct to sniff whisky. :D

Forget Cuban's - I prefer my home made "footlong" cigar - although it's only really pleasurable when the wife smokes it;)

What is it they say about cigars - you aren't supposed to swallow - I mean inhale:eek: I can't see the point in bothering without it. Not sure if the wife agrees.

Cohiba Siglo VI is a delight full cigar .

Maybe Blades could try the Bill Clinton's method of "enhancing" a cigars flavor. ;)

Happiness is a cigar called Chopper........

hmmm weird memories for me on this ever since my mate lit a cuban bum cigar up on the pavement on the way back from the Bengal Lancer curry house (Stoney Stratford) back in 95.

jingle bells everyone..

Good lord the things people do after a few beers...

:D

....Whatever you do make sure that cigar is kept in 'humidor' where it will stay 'moist'.....otherwise it will start to flake....

yes, good advice. I like to keep my cigar where it is moist. Unfortunately the painters are in for the next few days, so the equipment is out of order.

I've only ever had one and that was a BIG fat authentic Cuban cigar bought from the backstreets of Havanna - brought back by a friend. Rather good it was too. Though i wouldn't want to smoke one again, as my body is a temple:p.
