I am trying to check out a guy who is a CTA in the US- are there any web sites that will give detailed info ??

and start a thread with same question - they are a US traders thread therefore someone there will quickly point you in the right direction.

Go to the site of the National Futures Association. NFA

Follow the link to "BASIC". All firms or individuals in the industry which are correctly registered are there. If there has been any trouble with a firm or broker you will find it there.
