Hello!

I am trying to find new markets with high liquidity. Have only been trading in Sweden and Norway(where I live).

I am interested in basic commodities like coffe, sugar, corn, gold, silver and soy beans.

I have just opened an account with IB. Can I trade these commodities here?

At IB's web-site, when I click on CBOT, they list some futures, including mini-sized gold and silver. What about the others?

Here is a reply I recently received from IB re LIFFE commodities:

Prior to your e-mail, our clients have not expressed interest in these products. As such we have not taken all of the steps required for IB to cover the products. I can see from the average daily volume statistics that both cocoa and robusta coffee futures trade about 8,600 contracts per day. We will therefore start the process to cover these products. I will let you know when we expect to start this service.

I would like to remind you that as with other physical delivery products, IB will not take or make delivery for these contracts on settlement.

Thank you for your business.
