Bloomberg - Ask a stupid question??

The reporter from bloomberg, yesterday, asked a US economist whether he expected any surprizes in todays employment data.

The economists reply was 'If I was expecting it, it wouldn't be a surprize.'

I guess if you ask a stupid question, what can you expect
