Best Charting Software?

Hi all,

One thing that has been implored to me is to use some decent charting software. Over the past few days I've just been messing around with the charts on ADVFN to give me a feel for how the different indicators work.

What are people's thoughts on the best charting software to be using? I'm mainly looking to trade UK stocks in the first instance.

Depends on what you want it to do, but a good first step up from a free service would be to look at Sierra Chart.

For £10 a month ( ish ) I think you can get the platform and historical data.

Sharescope also an option if you are looking soley for UK but a bit more expensive.
