bit of a cliche but im new to this so hopefully someone can help, im looking at opening a day trading account(uk stocks as I havent got the full 25k to trade us stocks yet) and while im happy with my previous trading performance and methods Im struggling with the whole charting/broker/software thing, (obviously needing level 2)
As I understand it I can buy or pay monthly for charting software, will the brokers data feed then transfer over to the charting software so they are in sync? also if my broker is quoting me a price why would I need a different data feed and are there any companies that offer a whole package for uk stocks, i.e something like lightspeed.
Ive looked around for a thread which explains how to set up a trading package but cant find anything, im sure ive got this all twisted and its probably not this hard.
