to be pedantic, sunspot activities are not "astrology".
sunspot activities are a fairly mature science, at least in terms of understanding what they are, their causes, and their mechanics. and their impact on the material earth.

astrology is about forming pictures in the sky, from stars with no material impact on the earth, and imputing a cause.
