Had a phone call and a bunch of emails from a broker in the US - E1 Asset Management (quite how they got my number, I don't know) about Apple (AAPL).

They seem to think mid forties is on the cards in the short term (2-6 months), down to the release of Mac OS Tiger before Bill and his cronies get the XP replacement out.

Needs to get above $38 imo - but what's everyone else think? (quite ready to admit I know next to nothing about US stocks)

I think it can go again to levels of 42, but no more.Seems there the high for a long time.

A friend who has been trading AAPL for a good while thinks that, without some more good news in the next couple of months, the heat will leave it and low to mid 40s is where it'll stay.

There are plenty of opportunities to day trade it, though. Last few days have been a good ride.
