FTSE support at 6745 (15,550)

dow buy/sell 657/621

this was my plan from morning

obviously all wrong. accumulated ftse 45/35/25/22, thing got down to 08.

being stuck with ftse did not focus on getting short dow below 621.

think the bad euro economic data messed up a nice plan.

Did very well this morning but was looking for a short on the Dow (should not take a view just read the pa) and I missed the long off the pin retracement.

dax back above 9000, ftse only down 16pts . was down 55pts at worst, dont mind that

looks like US used weak europe to knock 550. could all change by 9pm gmt

15615 Dow. Either it carries on back up to 640 or it goes sideways in a channel for an hour or three. Place your bets.

not looking so bad now with ftse at 55. not so wrong after all. who could have figured dow 120pt bounce. gonna have to call this a bounce off 550/540

Resistance is at 100 MA in 10 minutes chart than channel trend line which started on 1st Nov. You could have got 550 than 560.

I was long at 18, 20, 21, 22... targeting 550 (or 100 MA which ever come first)

Resistance is at 100 MA in 10 minutes chart than channel trend line which started on 1st Nov. You could have got 550 than 560.

I was long at 18, 20, 21, 22... targeting 550 (or 100 MA which ever come first)

Yes, and I could have got another 60 or 70pt if I'd held on, but in this case I set a limit order at 540 and it was tripped very quickly. I could also have lost 20pt if I'd aimed for 550/560 and price had spiked up to 540 then headed back down again. Couldashoulda trading is just a waste of time. Any profit is good.
