Recent history suggests a V rally basically here to new highs
Instincts tell me move up overnight, drop again tomorrow, and at some point the market does it's usual dance and just melts up and this drop seems like a distant memory lol

The usual will happen, sellers will get excited and think the 'crash' is here and go all in short. Then the inevitable will happen and the market goes against them. The trend has been up since the 2008 correction yet you've still got traders betting against the market. Unbelievable really!
