I think mutual funds are regulated about the amount they can hold in cash. Maybe that’s at close of weekly book?? So, if they’ve been selling like mad all week, they’ll have a ton of cash and have to buy a lot before the close to meet their regulated cash %age.

This is why you MUST have cash as a decent %age of overall portfolio. These opportunities come once a decade!!

Not for one minute saying this is the bottom, but the fear wont last forever. Lots of gaps to fill upside (eventually).

This is a big game of replenishment for the strong. The fearful will stay away for some time.
