Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Anyone want to guess how long the dax can stay in a 20 point range.

I'm saying another 4 hours.

S&P is looking tired up here.
Dow is already heading south.

Looks like the ES is halting any falls currently. Cash market-wise looks like a trip to 2458/60 could be on the cards before a roll over, which would mean a dow push to about 21900 (ish).

If the s&p can flop around 5 handles at a time there cant be much volume out there.

Thats ok when its going up but low volume going down ...

Agree, the vols still very poor, got nothing (volume) on the pop, although price has moved to the levels logically, and now falling back.

Dont think we will see decent volume until we can drop below 2450, or a hold at this high and take 2460 with some decent size, then turn over.

That 6.5 point fall to 53.5 was only there to sucker in the shorts, who will now have to buy back those contracts at a higher level AND push the price up.

Straight line constant buying back up to 57.5. (Insert shaking head smiley here)

You can work out whats what but the One to short today was Dow and if in trouble, long Nas hedge.

Simples!

Also worth noting, the Dow is the weaker over the last few days. Until this condition changes, it will still be the One to short, all else being equal. If in trouble...see above :)

Yes noticed that, almost closed negative, but given the recent out-performance thats not surprising. Anyhoo were both short already.

Must admit that its nice to have some talk a bit about reasoning/alternatives etc, rather than just long here, short there.

There is something to be learnt everyday, new concepts to trigger the grey matter, so many ways to approach this business.

Just need this bugger to head southwards and make the year a good one(y)

Failing that - abuse the NQ (thanks CV!)
