Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

I cant imagine the jobs number being anything spectacular.
180 maybe.
The statement you made the other day postman in relation to prices always being right is a bit off. You are telling me that everyday prices are right in line with market sentiment which you and I both know is false. Prices aren't set by you and I as some may have you to believe. Each exchange has about 40 to 60 individuals called 'specialists' who are each assigned a basket of stocks. These individuals gauge the markets by setting the prices and essentially use you and I as an indicator. You will get certain days where big fish come in and sell/buy a whole lot of stock and they essentially change the price to reflect these unusual changes. Since human error can come into play so can manipulation. Certain days when volume is low they manipulate the prices so as to effect future prices, the wierd thing is that they are manipulating prices on high volume days which is desperate as ****. For example, the last few minutes of trading yesterday on the ftse was a perfect example. Had they priced the close to the downside they may have to face the possibility of having an up day today.....since an up day today would essentially start the next week off lower they specifically waited for prices to drop today. Now the ftse has an opportunity to come back to 6173 next week just because yesterdays close was 6117 not 6108 and todays close will be borderline 6076, get the picture. Since these 'specialist' actions are of that of humans and humans by nature are unpredictable the amount of technology that can be deployed into markets including AI and other algorithms have no place in markets......simply because they will purely reflect sentiment and make sense for the avid trader. The forex markets are even worse since select individual banks set prices in a dark pool system that has no oversight. The markets are rigged and as they should be...... else everyone who has managed through grade 10 mathematics can become a millionaire. Much like central banks........I'm fairly certain the consensus from experienced traders is that there is no credibility with these prices.
