Note that with the exception of two cyclical bull rallies at the very beginning of the 2009-11 bull market; the biggest one-day rallies occurred during bear markets.

Since stocks have been in a secular bear market since 2000, we also examined the 12 biggest one-day rallies since 1900 in the next table. Cyclical bull markets are shown in green and cyclical bear markets in red. Secular bull and secular bear markets are identified in the right-hand column.

you should branch out..trade some oil...wti
when the index are no good..you always get points in oil..as per yesterday

true dentist, i tried that a couple of years ago and got burned

do you keep the same strategy? Do you use different time frames for oil?

fx also starting to get more volatile now
a bit slower..but the points are there

I won't play with FX as my strategy doesn't work well with it.

In fact my strategy and signals only really work with the DOW and DAX, the FTSE doesn't play nice with it either. I find once I get a signal on the FTSE, the movement after is too little to fit with my risk ratio

p/f is breakouts.thet is the strategy...nowt else
