Postman any idea why dow surged around midnight? did something happen in US politics ?

I really dont know, but the Nikkei moved up 160 points in the pre market between midnight and 1am.

I do think the Dax is going down today - but there's no way I'm going to short it. I think the best to hope for is tight trading range. Everyone's waiting for some news. 😴

Dax range 30 points - we havent done the mandatory 50. I wouldnt like to say which way it will go.
