..well in case you have not noticed the sp was on its way down to the gap window before the "upgrade" today (rumors of it spread yesterday evening).

You said you have been shorting AMZN and i checked the chart and its risen significantly and even today it has risen...

So i don't understand what you are trying to say?

Maybe your just saying that you did a short on AMZN and it worked out ? In which case; congratulations, good job.

The SP fell because of bad economic data (Non-farm payroll) or to be more accurate; because Supply > Demand - But i don't see what that has to do with shorting AMZN which has risen significantly Vs yesterdays close.

So you reckon it's going to go up then? I shorted it before the fall last week and I tippled my position today. Sitting currently on 10k shares.....and already in hefty profit. I expect the sp to fall by 15-20% in the next few weeks. So what is your view of amzn for the next few weeks?

Well okay; If we are talking about hindsight trades...

I went long @ the bottom of the E-mini S&P500 pre-market today and now i've made loads of money and later on, after i see whether it rises today or falls; i will tell you i either stayed in the whole day or exited before the fall ... How does that sound ?

..nope didn't close my previous short as I am confident of my 100 target so being given a second opportunity to short at these levels is just a gift. That was my whole point.

And although it looks 'bullish'; that isn't my trade entry criteria... Its just a random observation...



I really don't have any sort of opinion on what might happen next; thats not my sort of trading... All i was doing is investigating your reasoning for posting the short and as of yet you haven't actually given a reason ?

Not really... I think most people would agree with me that your post was pointless and also in hindsight after a fall... On further exploration we've found that your actually holding a loss on a short on AMZN - Thats all you needed to say; You made it sound like you were making loads of money shorting AMZN and i found that weird; seeing as it has been going up and thats why i showed particular interest... And right enough; Thanks to my inquisitive mind; i've found that your holding a loss. Which isn't exactly something to start singing Christmas carrols about; Thats all.

Fair enough, cause my fulltime trading is based on "forecasting" the next moves...and I still got the roof above my head.

Notice volume high during the initial uptrend and then flat during the pullback (Admittedly, the opening is more liquid and then volume decreases, but its still worth noting)

What are your reasons for fore-casting a drop in AMZN - To close the window ?

I would really appreciate some fighting lessons; that would be great I've always wanted to learn to box.
