Is it just me or do trading systems strike you as a contradiction?

I mean, if I had a great trading system I wouldn't need to sell it. I would make my living from using the system. I certainly wouldn't waste trading time by developing it, advertising it and providing customer support.

What does everyone think?

If I could devise a workable trading system, I would be knocking on the doors of BIG financial institutions.

If they were convinced, they would not only pay you for using it, they would pay you to not give it to anyone else !! ( so they can maintain their edge against the competition )

Why mess about with hundreds or thousands of different customers.

You only need ONE.

So, yes, I agree, it appears contradictory.

( reason I would sell it to big institutions, is they would back you with THEIR money, and lots of it, if they could be convinced )

BIG instutions rarely buy products from one man bands (i have never seen one in any Front Office) - even the big vendors they will incorporate their functionality to fit into their (instutions) models.

I visited your website, but I won`t condsider it informative, but PURE SPAM. Why, because on you compile a lot of info, but not a word about the costs.

It`s just about luring visitors to commercial sites.
