Sorry to say but your the one who is starting to sound like a nutcase (no offense). It is not wrong to ask your government questions, in fact, it is THE right thing to do. Without asking you dont get and what we need is answers.

Try talking to more people, you say your social network only believes Al-CIAda was responsible and I assume you mean in full as you have no questions but shune the 'nutcases' that do. In a recent poll over half the American public believe the government to have been involved in some fashion. This would mean you need just one other friend in your social circle as this would surely be a 'nutcase'. If you oppose as strongly as you do then people just wont talk to you about it...simple.

If you have watched/listened/read the 'other side' to the story (and theres always 2 sides) then surely this would have doubts in your mind and also many, if at least just one question that you feel would need answering by the people YOU elected to put into manage YOUR country. Surely nutcases couldn't help you here....or could they?

It would seem that there are people out there that WANT to accept that the government is telling the whole truth and nothing but, this of course is easier for the mind to accept as to believe we live in a world that is controlled by guys we never see nor hear of and are obsessed with taking over the world to create one world order is just too much to bare. One single currency, one single government, one language, one military, one belief/religion and of course one world power that rules by electing itself....


This is all too much for some to believe. If only people opened there minds more to possible events and shut there eyes and ears from media manipulation then the world WOULD be a better place. Hey, may even make them a better trader, I know it does me.

You're right. 100%. It is easier for A person to reject thoughts that they are not comfortable with, through the process of "DENIAL". This is so relevant to peoples reactions to this type of topic. Denial - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

but statistically most polls and statistics are 90% made up. I found that out in a recent poll that was 10% true, although I only believe in 30% of all polls 90% of the time.:LOL:

I'm trying hard to stay away from this, but a point I made earlier;

Most of the "mass media" that we are to believe are being controlled / silenced would make a killing if they found out something of interest. BBC journalists will get paid whatever they come up with - and where are all the disgruntled journo's leaving their posts and complaining about being silenced? Perhaps there just isn't a story to be found?

The you have the "real" vested interests - the "prison planets" who make their money from raising questions that hint towards conspiracy (raising questions being infinitely easier than building a case).



A quick look at prison planet suggests the 2nd coming of Jesus is imminent (with a few zillion comments after), and a link to "how to win any fight in 3 minutes" - because obviously the real truth can't be learned at martial arts. It's kept secret by the controlling forces.

Excuse me, can i have everbodies attention please, I have a message of information - 911 was NOT an inside job - because -

1) prisonplanet needs sponsors to fund their work, as like the BBC for example, they are not backed by the govt enforced license fee....
2) the blades, dick dastardly and a dashing blade, say it was not.

Presumably then, it was nothing more than 19 hijackers with box cutters...forget the mass of contradictory evidence (official documents, witness testimony, scientifically proven theory and facts, expert opinion etc)...just trust what the governments said, & told the media to tell you....they wouldn't lie to you now would they........

This is the very adverts and manipulation I speak of, just because its on a theory website doesn't mean I agree with it. The questions remain until answered and in full.

As for journalist's not being able to report certain stories....wake up bud...it happens constantly...its happening now as we speak. Most reporters are told to report on certain events and told where to go and report from. Freelancers have to get the stories across and if not welcomed by the editer simply will go unpublished to the point where it is no longer news. There are already published details on what can be printed and what cannot...this is no secret....the secrets are the questions we dont know of...as is..the are known unknowns and things we dont know that we dont know:LOL: whatever.

You stick to buying sofa's from DFS and beans from heinz then:LOL::LOL:

Admittedly, some of the adverts are a little "alternative", everyone can see that! Big deal, this doesn't discredit the fine political & financial commentary and journalism that they produce.
Alex Jones has been a far more knowledgeable financial commentator in my time of listening to him, than anyone on MSNBC, bloomberg etc.
You could listen to his daily radio broadcast - prisonplanet - listen live. YOU MIGHT LEARN A FEW THINGS, that will also help your trading, as well as your general knowledge and awareness.

Lets not make this thread a persponal battle. This is a good debate.

Hey guys, lets not get off topic here. We're not discussing adverts on sofa's or nunchucks and where they happen to be. I can also see what you mean, hardly does the image any good, but hey, i'm not discussing image either.

The discussion should really hinge on, 'if we believe our governments have to answer to us'. Of course they do, so we ask a question. It should be answered. Not avoided or bounced around for many years until people forget why they where asking in the first place. As it goes, 'Lets not forget'.

I suppose the real question is where do we want to go from here?

Are we happy with the (potential but obvious) plans for a new world order?
Would we be better with one language? English is already the recognised international one.
Would we be better with one single currency? we're getting there.
Would we be better with one belief system or religion? We're still fighting this one.
Would we be better with one central government? again we are getting there.
and
Are we safer with a police state/nanny state? more and more camera's are being erected in exchange for our privacy.
Are we safer now we've attacked and invaded other countries? seemingly not short term at least.


All I want to know is where do we go from here. Do we fight whats left of our known freedom or bow down and say take my liberty so I can be ruled by you, 'the unelected power'. No one answer is maybe right or wrong, merely different, most wish to be commanded and controlled and told what to do, is this so bad?
You tell me. I just ask questions.
 
The problems with all this conspiracy stuff run deeper than just the trashy nature of some of the web sites peddling them. There IS a political agenda, and it is both crude and undesirable.

From my (admittedly cursory, as that is all I could put up with) reading of some of this stuff, 9/11 is attributed to a concerted, organized and secret agenda - by the illuminati perhaps - for a New World Order: NWO (TM) implementing a single world government. Apparently these people are immensely wealthy, powerfull and without qualms.

It seems this conspiracy runs deep and has many aspects. Some that I have come across include:

* The great global warming swindle. Surely a step towards a single world government as it requires collective action ie intergovermental action which is an anathema to these nuts.

* Feminism which is attributed to CIA ops in the 60s and 70s (guided no doubt by the hidden hand) designed to break down the family and pave the way for a single world government. I must admit that I nearly spilled my coffee when I read about this one.

* Communism and socialism

* Social welfare

So, it seems that the great ideas, political, social, philosophical and enviromental issues of the modern age are really nothing more than the machinations of the puppet masters pulling the strings in their great conspiracy towards the NWO. It is a crude fundamentalism.

And who ya gonna call when the truth finally hits home ? Well, the Illuminati Busters, of course, because there is nowhere else to go as all other politics is just the machinations of the consipirators. It is a closed system of thinking just as fundamentalist religion is.

Why is it so difficult to accept that 9/11 was carried out by Arabs and the imperialist foreign policy of the US (and Britian) in the middle east set the preconditions for growth of Al Quaida ? It doesn't make the actions of Bush and neocons any less distasteful. It is a cheap "out" for Americans to obsess about 9/11 rather than do some serious soul searching and take a good hard look at an imperialist foreign policy that has continued for decades as exemplfied by numerous interventions in Latin America, not to mention the horror of the war against Vietnam.

In a way the conspiracy nuts are not unlike the neocons. They both have a world view that basically believes in the end of history. For the neocons so called "liberal democracy" is basically the end point of history and for the conspiracy nuts, it's err ... the conspiracy, which if we all put our shoulder to the wheel we can turn back to the golden age of the american founding fathers or something like that.
