Does anyone know if there is something available for metatrader along the lines of the earlier charts in tradestation, that colors bars as the ma and ml line up? I've tried searching all the metatrader forums but can't find anything for this.

This one seems to be working nicely so far, reached first target and looking for 162 and then 165 later. A free trade now so it doesn't really matter if it turns around but it would be nice to see it go further.

I've certainly found it a bit of a mish mash recently but have a tentative long on eurjpy looking for 162 ish from the 8hr charts, trend seems to be changing up (but I reserve the right to be wrong :D ). Just got to teach myself that sometimes sitting on my hands is good for the account :cheesy:

That was quite a sharp little pop back up wasn't it. Pity the similar pop in the eurusd stopped me out but first target got hit so not a total loss. I can see a 5 min 123 on the eurjpy off support around 156.80 but I don't trade those.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on this thread for a while and thought I'd pop in and say hello. I went short earlier today on eurusd with targets around 1.3580, 3480 and 3420. I'm only a break even sort of trader though so the chances are I'm wildly wrong.

Squall, thanks for your input there but the problem i had was not so much calculating the margin, rather the number of pips needed on spot fx to make 100% margin profit seems to be significantly different to the number needed on a futures contract (which is what the book seems geared towards)...
