I know the press sensationalise alot of the news but I still believe there is far less regard for the human life at this moment in history based on the way people of all ages are being killed for the most trivial of reasons

The fact that we have become so immune to news of despicable acts like kids killing each other, suicide bombings, mass genocide in some parts of the world is enough evidence, imho, of life becoming cheap. These types of stories used to be very shocking but they have become part of our daily lives.

So many years on from starting this thread, it is so unfortunate to realise that things have actually got worse

I think the best thing is to have different accounts with a few SB companies even if it is just for some peace of mind.......lol

I have a feeling that crude oil is still gonna be the critical factor in Dow's movement today esp after all the other data are released after 3.00pm.....we would wander past 10900 but it is not gonna hold imho.

It is not just this thread but most threads tend to drift towards frivolity after the first few pages, it would have been nice if most of the arguments were funny or logical but what is the point of a thread with so many pages which bare no relevance to the title of the thread.

It is becoming very irritating to see so many promising threads on this board descend into frivolity, i hope the mods do something about it!!.

SB is an easy way for most people to get into trading cos of capital requirements and the fact that 1lotwonder feels it is not his cup of tea as a 'supposedly experienced trader' does not mean it is essentially a bad vehicle for trading. A good trader would always make money no matter what type...

I have a funny feeling that we are better off without his 'knowledge' if he is going to be so aggressive......we all come to this forum to learn from other people's trading experiences and knowledge and it is down to each individual to decide what is fact or fiction but we have to respect other...

I think they were basically scared into voting for Bush by the Neo-Conservatives, i hope he surprises us all by doing a better job in his second term esp in sorting out the mess in the Middle East (specifically the Israeli-Palestinian dispute).

Another 4 years of Bush, we are in serious trouble!!!!!......................nice for the markets tho

Bush seems panicked cos he is gonna be campaigning in one of the swing states after voting tomorrow...........i find that a bit strange.........lol.
