Sniper Forex System

I thought that it would be good to have a thread dedicated to discuss the trading system.

I am currently trialling it on a demo account using the original author's settings on the one hour GBP/USD chart. The author is claiming an average monthly return of around 400 - 500 pips on his website.

Feel free to add any comments or ask questions.

Hi Steve..i too am trialling it and i must say im impressed with the indicators..it does look quite simple..and im using it on all my pairs..even gold!

Which pairs are you using it on? I'm sticking to one for the moment.

thot it would be easier to show this so people can see what we are talking about, it shows which pairs im on and gives you alerts for all of them when they trigger.

Real nice system so far

Am I thick or something? I tried before, but I cannot find gold on Alpari! What demo account are you using?

hi stevespray,

could you provide a link to any site that explains the system, that you can recommend.
(those neat red/blue lines remind me of Hull-MAs, and am interested even though I ditched them recently)
whats your experience so far? good R:R? Win/loss ratio? win amounts/loss amounts ratio?
have you back-tested on any choppy times, as the markets have been fairly trendy of late?

hi sandy..if you right click under the pairs on the left choose sybols then its no 12 on the options list
Steve keeps better records than i do..so im sure he will keep us right with his testing as far as R:R goes

On my system no 12 is the EURAUD, ie AU as in Oz not as in Au!

The pairs offered differ between MT4 platform operators. Andy's screen shot looks like ODL Markets? They offer loads of extra markets that most of the other 'FX Only' brokers dont.

Hope this answers your questions. The EA's provided are 'locked' for obvious reasons and this makes backtesting impossible.

I am also trying a demo of Sniper Forex System,it signalled a short on GBP/USD this morning which would have paid for the software with my first trade had i purchased it but i do have the Stealth System which also signalled a short on same pairs but about 20 pips sooner, probably too soon to draw a comparison.

well that one didnt work, with the default settings usdcad...entry short 1.5095..but im assuming news came out of the states and blew it right out of the water

Yes i got caught on that one as well,i also noticed top line repainted! but not aware of any news that affected trade probably Cad just returning to trend after news at 1.30(B.S.T) caused downward blip.

How long have you been trading with stealth? I read up about it a couple of weeks ago but wasn't sure about the website so I decided not to buy it. How are you finding it?

I've had stealth about a week,not done too well so far on the 15 minute timeframe as recommended,getting whipsawed too much so going to try 30 minutes instead.

I am trialing Sniper at present and have set it up on exactly the same pairs as Concept. Just from one days trading I am quite happy with it. At the end of the week, which will be next week, I'll drop a spreed sheet in for anyone who is interested showing how it performed against Concept.

I bought this too year or so ago when it first hit ebay, looked ok actually but after spending 100 quid I realised I couldn't trade other people's systems. For anyone who likes to save some moolah it it very similiar to the slope system found on babypips and forex factory, at least the version I had was.

Could you help me with Sniper please. I am using it on 1 minuts chart and I have problem with alerts. Ther is so many of them - often in oposite direction. The problem is I cannot just buy and sell, buy and sell, buy and sell...or shell I work like this?

Maybe it is better to use 5 minuts chart but I am concern about the daley.

Could you tell me please, what`s your experience on this one? How is the best way to you use Sniper..?
