Well the breakout strategy is well known one, and many ppl use it. I use it because I do not have much time to spend near PC. No, I do not trade other markets, and trades you see are all I do.

Hi Soondoock,
to clarify your breakout system, are these points right?
- you make a box by marking the hi and lo of gbpjpy and gbpusd on 15m at 4 am and 7 am gmt
- you sell if box is below 95 ema on 15m and buy if box is above 94 ema on 15m
- can i ask what you do is 95 ema is through the box?
i think you have not had a losing month at all this year and are averaging 300 pips or so each month. is that right?

Hi,
If ema crosses the box we have pending orders in both ways (buy and sell). Everything is correct. Losses are part of this strategy. There can be different variants of the strategy. At the moment gbpjpy is not stable and fits to scalp on it. And I will continue with GBPUSD only. The percent of winning trades and losing about 70%/30%. That is what you can expect.

Just had a flick through the post Soondoock and think that this is a great thread and system. Just had a question, what if you get a bearish breakout yet the 95EMA is still below the box? keep up the good work mate.
