Baruch, I use the same timeframe as the original Hans. He uses 6am-9am CET, which, unless i'm mistaken, is 5am-8am BST. As I posted before, all credit goes to Hans123 and SM01 from the SBFX site - this isn't 'my' method; SM01 first suggested a volatility expansion based Hans approach.

I plan on adding discretionary input to create another method, which is likely to take news into account. At this stage though, i'm just looking to get a feel for baseline performance of a very simple method.

Hi Baruch, 10 lots is $100 a pip (1 lot = $10). I am testing a new 5 min strategy at the moment which is a loose variant of the Vegas tunnel. I got a signal from the system to go long.

I dont have a link, but if you google it, you'll find it. It's basically a trend following system that creates a "tunnel" using 2 EMA's (144 and 169) and places trades when price crosses the tunnel.

I am testing it on a 5 min timescale (original was on a 1hr) and trying to come up with filters to eliminate the whipsaw in and around the tunnel

OK, the rules of my system say that when price falls from one target, I must take profits at the target below (as long as it is more than 20 pips away), so scaled out 3 more lots at 234 for +34. The stop is moved back to break even. I am now
