I never said there would not be a loss so no shocker to me that one loss in 14 months happened. .

This is not a true statement. The ONLY reason that one loss occurred was because the system was curve fitted and optimised for NO losses in the first 12 months.

I went as far back as my data would allow, June 30 of 2010. I plugged in settings and ran hundreds of tests to come to my current settings. :

You started this thread and trading this system on June 1 of 2011 so it was ONLY POSSIBLE for a loss to occur from that date.
You got very lucky. You had no losses for three and a half months and then the loss occurred which wiped out 60% of your account.
But the reason that you didn't have a loss for three and a half months is because of the enormous size of the 250 pip stop loss compared to your small Target Prices of 1 pip, 2 pips and 25 pips.

The only purpose of this type of trading was to sell your EA for as long as you could.

I just ran the analysis, your trading system is doodoo.

I wrote the following analytical c++ program:

#include <iostream>
int main()
{
double sharpe = .2;

if(sharpe < .5)
{
cout << "This trading system is for sure doodoo" << endl;
}

return 0;

I ran it 5000 times and averaged the results. 100% of the time, the program outputted for sure doodoo, using his trading system.

If your program doesn't work, then you probably need to come out with version 2.0. That's what Windows has to do all the time. :LOL:

Ah, I see you're starting to hide info on myfxbook, smooth.

Firstly, you need to change your website:

"We are currently earning from 30%-60% every month." Should read "We are currently losing ~4% a month."

It's impossible to hide it when I give you the link.

Must I walk you through what it says?? I'll just copy and paste, much easier. :rolleyes:

A negative Sharpe ratio, ouch. I may as well buy US bonds.

The link which hides open trades and open orders, didn't used to, that's all I was saying.

Oh, yes, maybe when I first opened the page but wasn't too far later when I made that private. This isn't a signal service, just a place to monitor the trading history. ;)

Yeah, this isn't a signal service. You'd have to pay people to use your signals to cover their losses.

How did you manage 39 pips?

I changed some settings so that could get 3.5% - 5.9% per day on the winning trades. I reduced the risk to just 25% max per day but only 15% per trade. I may get two trades per day as well. Yes, there will be losses. This will not reach $2M in two years but it should be fairly steady at around 30% per month average. Now it may take 2.5 to 3 years but I'm ok with that. ;)

Totals for the month. -36.8%

Because of the changes, I think I should see a more consistent gain per month without a huge drop. I'm trading on two pairs now and the gain will be 3.5% - 5.9% per day on the winning trades with only a max of 15% dd. Of course, some days I won't see any trades and others, the trades will be drawn out for several days. That's just how the market works.
