I have been cold called by a company called Cityshore Commodities Ltd trying to sell my a plot of land in Grantham for £10,000+ with "good returns in 18 months". Their brochure implies that this could be 7 times investment - "should planning permission be approved".
Not sure where they found my number - but they have a lengthy patter that makes it difficult to stop them (other than hanging up on them). Their brochure looks impressive.
It sounds a bit too good to be true - especially as they call on a regular basis from a witheld number.
I wonder if this might be a piece of agricultural land that would never get planning permission and which they can make a killing by selling it off in smaller plots.
Anyone know of this company and their claims?
